Leia Marie

Leia Marie made her debut! She arrived on October 3, 2011 at 6:10pm...weighing 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long.

Mom and Baby are doing good...just getting adjusted to the new schedule.

It's Today

Today's the DAY!! and I'm wide awake. I should be sleeping or at least resting, but I can't seem to find sleep.

I have my bag packed...Leia's bag is packed...iPod is charged, cameras are ready to go...I just need it to be the right time to go.

I guess I should at least try to get some rest before all the "fun" starts. So, check back soon (well, later on today) and maybe Leia will already be here! ♥

Leia....38 wks 4 days

All the walking this week really paid off...Today's dr's appt gave me the results of 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced!
Induction is still scheduled for early Monday morning...unless something happens this weekend. I don't think I've ever been this much effaced with the other pregnancies, so things COULD happen.

I had a growth scan/ultrasound this morning as well...to check baby's weight and the fluids.
Baby is estimated to weigh 7 lbs 9 oz....which is great considering I have gestational diabetes. Baby is in position and ready to go.
